Problems maps can solve

Maps have a wide variety of uses, including:

  • basemap display of a region
  • locations and location properties of interest
  • thematic maps
  • time series maps
  • spatial distribution or location of resources
  • Layer is exclusively used to add map content.
  • <map-caption> is used to provide an accessible caption for screenreader users.
